Jean-Paul FORCEVILLE speaks on the occasion of The World Post Day

On Friday, October 7, the UPU celebrated The World Post Day a little early, this year theme is dedicated to our planet. Indeed, the many disasters of recent months have highlighted the urgent need to act. Most Posts have progressively become aware of their responsibilities and have put in place real policies of Corporate Social Responsabilities.
Invited to speak at the opening of the ceremony, following the message from Mr. Masahiko METOKI, the UPU's General Director, the General Secretary of the World Meteorological Organization and the Chairman of the Council of Administration, Mr. Isaac Gnamba, Jean-Paul FORCEVILLE reminded the audience that the Postal Operations Council was fully committed to this collective and global fight for the preservation of our planet. He called for the mobilization of UPU members, Restricted Unions and the entire postal community.
