New International Bureau leadership team officially takes office

The new management team took office at the official handover ceremony held at the UPU on 5 January.

Pascal Clivaz, outgoing IB Vice Director General, and Bishar Hussein, outgoing IB Director General, welcomed their successors Masahiko Metoki, Director General elect, and Marjan Osvald, Vice Director General elect.

Jean-Paul Forceville, Chairman of the UPU's Postal Operations Council, was also present at the event, which was chaired by Isaac Gnamba-Yao, Chairman of the Administration Council.

After the swearing-in of the deputy director general and the director general, Mr. Metoki received the key to the International Bureau from his predecessor, Mr. Hussein, as is customary.
