France hosts a reception in Bern on 22nd October 2019

On 22 October 2019, during the session of the Universal Postal Union's Council of Administration, France invited all UPU delegates and staff to a reception. Mr. Frédéric JOURNES, Ambassador of France in Switzerland, Mr. Serge MOSTURA, Ambassador, Head of the French delegation, and Mr. Nicolas Routier, Deputy Director General of Le Groupe La Poste , announced France's candidacy for membership of the Council of Administration, the Postal Operations Council and the candidacy of Mr. Jean-Paul FORCEVILLE for the chairmanship of the Postal Operations Council for the next Abidjan cycle (2021-2024). They reiterated France's commitment to the values of the Universal Postal Union, and confirmed that France was more committed than ever to developing the organization for the benefit of its 192 member countries.
